Meet Our Founder

Q&A with Henry Richardson

Growing up in a family of speech therapists, I had early exposure to the transformative power of speech therapy. Later, through my journey as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, I was able to see the critical role speech therapists play in holistic patient care. Those experiences, combined with the emerging importance of virtual health services during the pandemic, are what drove me to create a company that offers speech therapy that is accessible to all.

Our goal is to bridge the gap in care, offering convenient and effective virtual  speech therapy for toddlers, kids and adults,, while upholding the highest standards of treatment and therapists.

One specific childhood memory left a lasting impact on me. There was a young boy that my mother treated who I saw years later in high school, and he was unrecognizable. Seeing him transform into a confident, well-spoken man was a powerful testament to the efficacy of speech therapy.

There are so many benefits to using technology in speech therapy. Things like increased accessibility and flexible scheduling are just the beginning. It also allows for things like customized learning tools and real-time feedback thanks to data tracking and analysis. It really opens the door to more opportunities compared to traditional therapy sessions.

We stay current through continuous education and workshops to learn about new techniques and advancements. We also attend conferences and collaborate with our community academic institutions and organizations to raise awareness about the importance of speech therapy in a virtual setting for all ages, including toddlers, kids and adults.

Our philosophy for speech therapy centers around individualized, patient-centric care. We believe that each client is unique, with distinct needs and backgrounds, which calls for a tailored approach to therapy. Effective communication is at the core of human interaction and personal development, so we prioritize building strong, empathetic relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage progress.
